Riverside Dental Group, Dental Associate Offices and Desert Dental Specialty Group offer both general and specialty dental care services in most of our locations.

General Dentistry - This is commonly thought of as "family dentistry". Your general dentist is knowledgeable in all areas of dental care. As your primary dental care provider, the General Dentist oversees and coordinates treatment for your entire family. If the need arises, the General Dentist may refer you to a specialist.
Specialty Care |

Orthodontics - The specialty which deals with appearance and/or function of the teeth and jaw. Crooked or crowded teeth are often difficult to maintain which can lead to tooth decay, gum disease and, eventually, tooth loss. Straight teeth also provide a more pleasing smile and improved self-confidence.

Periodontics - This specialty deals with the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the gums and bone surrounding the teeth. Periodontal disease, if left untreated, can destroy the bone and surrounding tissues of the teeth leading to possible tooth loss and an unattractive smile.

Endodontics - This specialty deals with diseases of the pulp, or nerve, of the tooth. Treatment performed by Endodontists may be called "root canals".

Pediatric Dentistry - This children's specialty deals with the dental needs of infants, children and adolescents. The Pediatric Dentist has a special understanding of the oral development and disease processes of children. Communicating with children at their level is particularly important as it helps children manage their dental anxiety. Pediatric Dentists provide the full spectrum of dental services for the growing child.

Prosthodontics - This is the dental specialty pertaining to the diagnosis, treatment planning, rehabilitation and maintenance of the oral function, comfort, appearance and health of patients with clinical conditions associated with missing or deficient teeth.

Oral and maxillofacial surgery - This specialty treats problems such as the extraction of wisdom teeth, misaligned jaws, tumors and cysts of the jaw and mouth, and to perform dental implant surgery. Oral Surgeons are also trained to administer anesthesia, and provide care in an office setting.

Other Services
Cosmetic Dental Procedures - This is the art and science of enhancing the appearance of the teeth using a wide range of techniques that may include: restoration, placement, straightening, crowning, bonding, bonding or whitening. Through Cosmetic Dentistry, we are able to correct certain flaws in the appearance of your smile. With these corrections, your smile is restored -- so is your self-confidence!

Implant Restoration - Dental implants are today's best option for people who have experienced tooth loss. It's a fabulous alternative to dentures as these are permanent "teeth" that look and function like natural teeth. Dental implants are small anchoring devices that are implanted directly into the jawbone. Artificial teeth are attached directly to the implanted devices creating what looks and feels like natural teeth. For people wishing to keep their dentures, dental implants act as stabilizing devices that add comfort and security by keeping dentures from slipping.
